Control System Design
Green Logic provides custom control system design for conveyor systems based on the customers electrical specifications or using our own specifications. We design the entire control system using AutoCAD and comply with all national, state, and local safety guidelines. All details are documented in the drawings for installation and troubleshooting purposes. On project completion the customer will receive all documentation including: Electrical Layout Drawings, I/O Placement Drawings, Network Design Drawings, Control Panel Design Drawings, Bill of Materials, Spare Parts List, Drive Parameters, and all PLC Files.

Electrical Control Panel Design
Green Logic will design each control panel to your specifications or we will use our own specifications. We design each panel to have 20% spare space for future additions. All panel components are UL listed or UL recognized and built using the UL508A specifications. UL certification can be obtained for each control panel we design.

Control Panel Fabrication
Green Logic can also fabricate custom control panels based on your panel build specifications. If no specification is supplied then we will build the panel adhering to the UL508A and NEC codes for panel fabrication.

Electrical Installation
We can provide licensed electricians for your installation needs. We strive to design your control system so that the electrical install can be completed quickly while minimizing installation cost.

PLC/PAC Program Development
We supply nonproprietary programmable logic controllers and programmable automation controllers. We prefer to supply Allen Bradley ControlLogix or CompactLogix processors because of their processing speed and advanced capabilities. Using nonproprietary controllers ensures that your system can be supported by an industry proven manufacturer for longer than any proprietary PC controller.

Green Logic provides custom HMI development using nonproprietary off the shelf software that has a proven reputation in the industry. We can develop applications for your control system that can reside on a local operator interface or distributed on PC's throughout the plant.

WCS (Warehouse Control System) Development
We are currently in the process of designing and developing nonproprietary WCS server applications. These applications will work with today's off the shelf SQL databases and will run on Windows Server. The WCS will use industry proven off the shelf PLC to database communication software for a robust solution. Using off the shelf software allows the customer to be supported by Green Logic, the software manufacturer, as well as other professionals in the industry. Commissioning
Green Logic provides experienced engineers for onsite commissioning of every control system project we design. Our engineers will do a complete I/O checkout and make sure all safety emergency stops are working properly before running a single motor. We also work with our customers to coordinate comprehensive testing of all areas before the Go Live date. Our goal is to thoroughly commission the project so that your system will start-up on schedule.

Customer Support and Documentation
We provide 24/7/365 support and complete project documentation for all of the projects we design. We can also provide the same support to companies that have control systems that we did not design. We can recreate drawings for customers that don't have an AutoCAD electronic version of their system as well as any other documentation that might be necessary for the maintenance staff to maintain the system.

Onsite/Remote Troubleshooting
We offer electrical, PLC, and HMI troubleshooting to customers that we have completed projects for, as well as companies that we did not do the original work. We want to help you solve any problem that arises from a faulty control system. We offer onsite assistance and remote assistance by phone or directly connected to your system over VPN. We provide a 1 year warranty with free remote assistance for all control systems designed and commissioned by Green Logic.

Spare Parts
Green Logic provides a comprehensive list of recommended spare parts for each control system project. The items contained in this list can be purchased through Green Logic or through local vendors that carry the same products. We always suggest purchasing the recommended spare parts to eliminate as much downtime as possible. We also can assist in finding replacement parts for systems that we did not design.

Fixed Barcode Scanner Setup and Troubleshooting
We have extensive experience with all major manufacturers of barcode scanners. We know how to specify the best scanner for your application and we will design the mounting structure as well as the placement of photoeyes and encoders on the conveyor. Our experience covers line scanners, omni directional scanners, scanner tunnels reading multiple sides, and high speed cameras. We have experience with several scanner applications such as pick and pass, merges, sorters, divert verification, and pick module verification.

Control System Replacement
There are numerous legacy control systems installed and running in many distribution centers that are dependent on the control system to process orders. These legacy systems may not be manufactured or supported by the manufacturer because of changes in technology. Green Logic will work with your operations scheduling to update your control system to a modern system that is supported and has spare parts readily available. We replace or upgrade old computers, legacy PLC's, legacy I/O (Opto 22), legacy controls networks (upgrade to ethernet), legacy HMI's, and many other control devices.
